The switch in connection technologies has been commissioned

We have commissioned the switch in connection technologies.

We will arrange the activation date with our service providers and immediately inform you once we have received notification.

Here’s some more information on what happens next:

Please note that you require a compatible router when switching to VDSL. We recommend the FRITZ!Box 7490 router. If you are switching from VDSL to ADSL then the router is normally still compatible.

If you have ordered a router you will receive this from DHL closer to the activation date. The router is preconfigured with your login data. All you need to do is plug it in and you’ll be online straightaway.

If you haven’t ordered a router then you will receive an email with the login data in time for the activation date. If you currently do not have access to the internet then you can also phone to request the login data.

The login data for your previous connection will no longer work so you will have to replace it with the new data. The login data for your phone line generally doesn’t change.
